Welcome to Mopani Gold. We are a high-grade African gold producer with two operating mines, one Kenya and the other in Zimbabwe. Through acquisition, refurbishment, and exploration on stranded assets, we have an exciting opportunity to build a substantial gold businesses in the heart of some of Africa’s richest mining regions.

We specialize in rehabilitating old or under-explored gold assets with early production opportunities and significant exploration potential. Karebe, in Western Kenya, was our first acquisition in 2009 and since then has consistently operated as one of the world’s highest-grade, lowest unit cost gold mines. In 2015 we purchased and re-opened Venice and Commoner mines, in the Midlands Archean age greenstone belt in Zimbabwe. We are entering the final phase of ramp-up at Venice after selling Commoner and focusing our resources.
