Ongwe Minerals

Founded in 2021, we're a Namibian exploration company dedicated to creating value through data-driven exploration. We're actively advancing both greenfield and brownfield projects to uncover Namibia's mineral potential.

Our current focus is on three promising gold projects in Namibia, located in Omatjete, Khorixas, and Outjo.

Omatjete Gold Project:

This project is strategically located in the North Central Zone of the Damara Belt, right along the Okondeka Fault Zone. This is a significant regional structure that also hosts the Kokoseb gold deposit and the Manga gold anomaly. We believe this area has immense potential.

Khorixas Gold Project:

Situated just 60 km west of Osino's Eureka gold project, our Khorixas project is easily accessible and positioned within the Northern Zone of the Damara Orogenic Belt. We've already identified two priority gold targets: Belmont and K17.

Belmont Prospect:

As part of our Khorixas project, the Belmont prospect is a massive 12 × 6 km area that lies between the Khorixas-Gaseneirob and Belmont Thrust Zones. Although 90% of the area is covered by calcrete and scree, our exploration efforts have already pinpointed 18 target areas based on calcrete and grab sampling. This demonstrates the strong mineralisation potential beneath surficial cover.
