White Cliff Minerals (ASX: WCN), is an early-stage copper explorer with a highly attractive opportunity in Canada. The company’s maiden drilling at the Rae Project has returned exceptional copper intercepts that point to a potential major discovery. First assays included 175m @ 2.5% Cu; 90m @ 4.0% Cu & 7.5 g/t Ag; 58m @ 3.08% Cu & 13.3 g/t Ag; 105m at 2.25% Cu. Adding to the scale, the new Danvers 2 (15m at 4.8% Cu) extending the system over 4km and results from aerial geophysics suggesting much greater scale. With a large underexplored land position, upside that includes further copper discoveries, including confirmation of a sedimentary-hosted copper system, and near-term catalysts of further assays and follow-up drilling, White Cliff is entering an exciting phase of growth.

What are your key goals for the next 3, 6 and 12 months?

3 Months:

  • deliver further assay results from drilling, expanding the known mineralisation footprint
  • remobilise to site, to commence follow up drill campaign
  • commence feasibility studies and met testing

6 Months:

  • deliver assays from second phase drilling
  • confirm copper exploration target for Danvers
  • commence preparation of maiden jorc resources

12 Months:

Define material and economic copper deposits

What do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?

  • The coppermine region in Northern Canada is one of the last proterozoic era basins in the world to be explored for sedimentary hosted copper. These basins are proven hosts of large scale copper deposits around the world (in fact the largest
  • This area has only recently been opened up for exploration, and now a major land rush has occured, with WCN having first mover advantage across the region
