Eastport Ventures

Eastport Ventures is an innovative Canadian mineral development and exploration company focused on progressing critical metals projects located in Botswana. Formed by seasoned professionals, over the past five years Eastport has acquired mineral assets providing exposure to copper, nickel, uranium, and rare earth elements, with estimated cumulative project expenditures in excess of ~$15 million.

Eastport’s material property is its flagship 1,845 km2 Matsitama copper project, which has benefited from over 50,000 metres of diamond drilling, >115,000 soil samples, and over a terabyte of geophysical data, conducted by Eastport and prior owners.

In addition to its projects, Eastport has built a portfolio of strategic assets through its incubation division, that it believes have the potential to deliver a meaningful Return on Investment (ROI). Eastport’s objective through this division is to incubate these investments prior to achieving a public listing or other exit, allowing time for the investee companies to build value from their assets, strengthen their business models, and position themselves for success.
