Anthea Bath, President & CEO

Anthea Bath’s global mining career spans over two decades. Prior to joining Wesdome as President & CEO in 2023, she was the COO at Ero Copper where she was responsible for overseeing operations at four mines in Brazil, including both underground and open pit operations, as well as significant projects such as shaft sinking and open pit development. Her leadership contributed significantly to Ero Copper's transformation from a junior miner to a $2 billion international company. From 2016 to 2018 Ms. Bath was Vice President, Strategic Market Development and Supply Chain at Sibanye-Stillwater. Prior to 2016, she held the position of CEO at Mitochondria Energy and also Pentaquark Energy. Ms. Bath started her mining career with Anglo American Platinum as Head of Market Development and Intelligence where she initiated a global private equity fund and developed new commercial product innovations, earning recognition with the Anglo American Applaud Award for Innovation. She is a non-executive director of Epiroc AB, a global mining equipment company. Ms. Bath graduated from the University of Pretoria (South Africa) with a Master of Chemical Engineering (M.Eng.)
